Raising Dogs
How many months old? Puppies should not be bathed as it can easily cause colds. Do not touch the puppy’s nose because hands may carry bacteria. You need to give the hexavalent vaccine: one shot at 40 days old, another shot after 20 days, another 20 days later, and the last shot can be combined with the rabies vaccine. Deworming medication or injections are also needed because puppies carry parasites from their mother's body. After one year old, give two shots annually: one hexavalent vaccine and one rabies vaccine.
It is recommended to feed balanced dog food. When puppies are young, soak the dog food in water before feeding. They can eat some egg yolk. Generally, dogs defecate about 20 minutes after eating. You can put them in a fixed place to train them to defecate regularly at a certain spot. Do not give the dog poultry bones as they may hurt them; you can give beef, lamb, or pork bones (not for puppies, but after 5 months it's okay), but avoid feeding too many as it may cause constipation.
Also, deworm dogs every six months because when walking, dogs sniff the ground, and bacteria and parasite eggs can attach to their nose. When they lick their nose, the parasite eggs enter their stomach. Prevent skin diseases such as fungal infections and mites. If your dog has floppy ears, clean inside the ears often because the ear covers the ear canal and prevents sunlight from reaching it, which breeds mites and bacteria. Dogs with erect ears usually do not have this issue, but regular cleaning is still recommended.
Use 886 cleaning solution with a cotton swab to wipe, which can be bought at pet stores or veterinary hospitals. That’s about it, let me know if you have any other questions.
