Introduction to the Pug Breed
Pug (detailed introduction)
The pug, originally from China and domestically also called Haba Dog, is charming and elegant. It was officially named "Pug" in the late 18th century, the word’s ancient meaning being ghost, lion nose, or little monkey. Pugs are prone to the problem of ingrown eyelashes. Their heads have many folds, making eyelids prone to inversion, and they also tend to have blocked tear ducts, resulting in two obvious tear stains.
