How to Train Dogs to Fetch Things?
Can your pet dog fetch things? When you throw a ball, does it obediently hold it in its mouth and then help you bring it back? Actually, dogs can be trained to fetch. As long as the owner masters the "how to train dogs to fetch" methods and trains the pet dog consistently every day, the smart dog will soon be able to fetch things.
In order to have my own dog obediently fetch things, I have been searching online for related training tutorials and materials, then persistently training my dog every day. Combining theory and time, I have summarized some training methods:
1. To train the dog to fetch, first the owner must raise their status in the dog's mind, making the dog see you as the only master, obeying and submitting; you must understand that if the dog does not obey your commands, how can you have it fetch things for you?
2. During training, prepare some toys that the dog likes; this is very important. Because these toys can attract the dog's attention and help improve training efficiency, allowing the dog to better grasp the method and rules of fetching things.
PS: Training the pet dog to fetch should be persistent and unremitting. Train daily, of course training 2-3 times a day, each session lasting about 15 minutes. During training, when facing the dog, the owner’s attitude should be clear in rewards and punishments. That is, encourage and praise the dog when it does well, and conversely, if it is naughty and avoids training, scolding by the owner is also necessary.
