How to Recognize When Your Dog Needs Deworming?
Nowadays, many families have dogs, but they may have been given by friends or found on the street. Many dog owners are unaware of the important care points, which can cause problems. For example, if we feed the dog without a set amount, it will keep eating but doesn't know when it is full. This can cause indigestion, vomiting, and diarrhea symptoms. I believe all new dog owners have seen this situation. We also need to regularly vaccinate the dog. Besides vaccines, the most important thing might be deworming. Today, I will talk to new dog owners about how to recognize when your dog needs deworming.

1. Indigestion and extreme thinness.
When a dog shows symptoms like vomiting and diarrhea, we need to determine whether it ate too much or needs deworming. We can first take it for some exercise and then buy some probiotics for it. If the symptoms do not improve, we should take it to the hospital to check for parasites. If a dog eats a lot but looks thinner and thinner, we should consider parasites because the nutritious food might not be absorbed by its body but by the parasites.
2. Illness.

If you find your dog is very lethargic recently, we should consider if it needs deworming and take it to the hospital immediately. If we do not deworm, the parasites may increase and even block the dog’s intestines. The dog will become very weak, unable to eat, and its life could be threatened. Therefore, when we first bring the dog home, besides checking if it is healthy, once it is six months old, we can take it for deworming. After that, deworming every three months is enough, not too frequent. We can find a specialized hospital and get a card, which will be more convenient. After all, even humans get sick often, let alone dogs.
We must pay attention to our dog’s health so it can accompany us for many years. After all, the longer we keep them, the more emotional attachment we develop.
