　　1. Suggest letting it bite a towel

　　Let it bite the towel and play tug-of-war together. If it can tear the towel and make a sound, its prey drive will be greatly satisfied. Of course, after guiding it to bite, you still need to set some rules: it must not bite other things and can only bite the things you allow.

　　2. Redirect the dog’s attention

　　Use other substitutes to divert the dog’s attention away from your fingers, and regularly play tug-of-war games with your dog. Whenever the dog bites you, sternly and loudly tell it not to, then tap its head or the side of its mouth—be careful not to hit the nose, ears, or any part below the head.
