How to Improve Dog Indigestion
Dog

Compared to other pets, feeding dogs is relatively simple, but a healthy dog still requires the owner's careful care. Dog indigestion is a common illness, but owners should not ignore it and delay treatment, missing the best opportunity for recovery.
   1. Methods to Improve Dog Indigestion:
   1. Basic methods:
First stop feeding for one day, and after 24 hours provide easily digestible liquids such as vegetable broth and porridge. You can administer stomach-aiding medications like lactobacillus, gastric enzyme complexes, and Shimu Shen. If diarrhea contains mucus or blood, oral administration of gentamicin or berberine is recommended.
In cases of severe dehydration, infusion of glucose saline, normal saline, or compound sodium chloride is advised. With the above treatment and enhanced care, recovery can occur within 2 to 3 days.
   2. Probiotics can improve dog indigestion:
Probiotics help regulate the balance of intestinal flora in pet dogs and aid in the digestion and absorption of food. Furthermore, their main benefit is promoting the absorption of vitamins by dogs.
They also help regulate unpleasant stool odor and bad breath even without dental disease, restoring the dog's health. Probiotics assist in balancing intestinal flora, improving nutrient absorption.
The primary advantage is enhancing vitamin uptake. They also help regulate issues like foul-smelling stool and bad breath unrelated to tooth disease.
   2. Feeding Management to Prevent Dog Indigestion:
   1. Feed regularly at fixed times and amounts. Dogs under one year old can be fed four to five times daily, adults two to three times.
   2. Food should be cooked and diversified, combining coarse and fine grains to ensure balanced intake of nutrients to support growth and development.
   3. Processed cooked meats such as ham sausage should not be fed frequently.
   4. Appropriate amounts of fruit can be given, especially important for dogs.
   5. Food must be kept fresh, preventing freezing and spoilage.
   6. Feeding tools should be cleaned and disinfected after each use and not shared among dogs.
