Foods Suitable for Puppies to Eat, and Feeding Precautions for Puppies
Newborn puppies need extra care in feeding because their digestive systems have not yet fully developed. However, some new pet owners are not very familiar with the feeding precautions for puppies. Don’t worry, today the PetQ editor will introduce the foods suitable for puppies to eat. Let’s take a look below.
1. Sausages (preferably chicken sausages, 1~2 per day. Do not feed too much, or the dog will have watery eyes, and red tear stains will appear on both sides of its nose bridge, which looks very ugly!)
2. Animal bones (it is recommended to feed less if possible. Eating too many will affect their bone development and there is a risk of choking.)
3. Cold drinks (most dogs like milk-flavored ice cream in summer, but a few dogs may not like it~ don’t feed too much!)
4. Milk (my dog loves it~ but milk is not recommended for dogs with weaker constitutions, especially dogs under 10 months old should not drink it!)
5. Meat (this is of course nearly every dog’s favorite! But it’s best to feed them beef or pork, preferably meat from soup, and not too greasy or salty, as that could cause illness!)
6. Fruit (eating a moderate amount is good, but not too much, or it will cause diarrhea).
These above are things that most dogs generally love to eat, but as always — don’t feed too much! Also, dogs should not eat hot food, or it will affect their health~ The staple food for dogs must be regular dog food~ this is how dogs will grow strong and healthy!
