It is best to vaccinate pet dogs kept at home. Annually, this is beneficial for both people and pets. Family members do not need to get vaccinated unless a person is bitten by a rabid dog, in which case the vaccine must be administered.
For vaccinating dogs, it is recommended to choose imported vaccines. Because domestic vaccines do not provide much protective effect after injection.
The entire initial vaccination process for a dog consists of 4 injections. Specifically—
The first time, one dose of a 2-in-1 vaccine; after the interval, the second dose is a 4-in-1 or 6-in-1 vaccine; after the interval, the last dose is a 4-in-1 or 6-in-1 vaccine plus one rabies vaccine injection (the last time is 2 injections).
Then, the next year's vaccination time should be one month earlier than the previous year's vaccination date. This should be done every year thereafter.
Recommended brands of imported vaccines include Intervet from the Netherlands, Merial from France, and Fort Dodge from the USA, etc. Different brands have different vaccine combinations.
