Dangerous Home Environment for Puppies
Dogs
When a puppy first arrives home, the owner may not have had time to prepare the layout, and the curious little ones might have already started their new journey. Everything in the house is new and interesting, but hidden dangers also exist! Let me tell you about several dangerous items at home that puppies need to avoid. New pet parents, quickly learn these tips.
1. Preventing Puppy Injuries:
Newly bought puppies love to play and are very curious, wanting to touch and bite everything, unaware of dangers. Therefore, after the puppy arrives home, the owner should promptly take preventive measures to avoid injuries at home.
2. Stay Away from Dangerous Items:
Taking care of puppies should be like taking care of toddlers—whatever dangers toddlers might encounter, puppies can too. With this mindset, the puppy’s life will be much safer!
3. Electrical Appliances, Wires, and Plugs:
Many things threaten puppies, including household electrical plugs and wires, various cleaning agents, insecticides and rodenticides, gas stove hoses, potted plants, and cacti with thorns (which puppies like to touch and bite).
4. Isolation from Other Animals:
To prevent accidents, dangerous items should be placed out of puppies’ reach, and puppies should be temporarily separated from other animals. After observing for a period, they can be allowed to interact. If separation is impossible, when no one is home, the puppy should be kept in a cage and allowed out only when someone is home.
