Are Poodles Fierce Fighters? Don't Be Deceived by Their Appearance
There are more and more dog breeds on the market nowadays, so more people are growing fond of dogs. Poodles are one of these breeds. During the process of raising dogs, many people may have experienced dog fights. Whether the other dog is bigger or smaller, some dogs will attack other dogs as long as their owner is present. So, are poodles fierce fighters?
What should you do when you find poodles fighting?

Among all dogs, poodles are considered one of the fiercest fighters. Even if the opposing dog is several times larger in size, a poodle will still launch an attack. There are many reasons why poodles fight; anything that makes a poodle unhappy can provoke a fight. For example, when competing for food, competing for owner's attention, or fighting over territory with other dogs, these situations can trigger a poodle’s aggression. But as owners, we must not let them fight freely because fighting can easily cause injuries to poodles.

First, we must stay calm and not panic or shout at the poodles. Because when dogs are fighting, they do not hear external sounds. If you keep yelling at them, they might even see you as a target. The correct way is for the two dog owners to each grab one of the dogs’ two hind legs from behind and slowly pull backward, continuing until the dogs are out of sight of each other.

However, during this process, be careful: do not pull dogs in a straight line. Instead, pull them in a circle. This way, the dogs’ front legs and chins will face the ground, preventing them from biting us. When the dogs have completely calmed down, release your hands. Pulling dogs apart is actually a dangerous task, so we must use the correct method to avoid injuring ourselves. This is all about how fierce poodles are in fighting and what to do when you find poodles fighting.
