3. When holding a cat to play, placing fingers on the cat’s head or paws will also cause it to bite quickly. But if owners try often to place their fingers near the kitten’s mouth without reactive pulling away, it will not bite harder. When cats find what they bite isn’t fun, they will naturally release.
