Chinchilla Cat
Cats live about 15 years, with the longest up to more than 20 years. The maximum breeding age can be up to 14 years, but generally 7 to 8 years. Regardless of male or female cats, after the reproductive years exceed 7 to 8 years, the reproductive physiological function will decline significantly. Female cats no longer show estrus signs, and male cats lose mating ability. This age stage is called the reproductive function cessation period.
To extend the utilization period of breeding female cats, it is advisable to appropriately control the number of litters. Generally, 2 litters per year or 3 litters every two years is preferable.
