　　There are three types of roundworms parasitizing cats: Toxocara cati, Toxascaris leonina, and Baylisascaris procyonis. The roundworms inside cats may be transmitted from the mother during infancy or by licking the roundworm eggs discharged in feces. If a cat’s stomach is infested with roundworms, it will exhibit symptoms such as lethargy, vomiting, diarrhea, constipation, and weight loss. In severe cases, symptoms like intestinal obstruction and anemia may also occur.
