Four Methods to Induce Lactation in Mother Cats

with no or insufficient milk after giving birth can use the following methods to induce lactation for the :
1. Hormone treatment: inject 3–4 units of oxytocin into the mother cat's muscles once a day for 3–4 consecutive days.
2. Herbal lactation remedy: 20g Vaccaria seeds, 10g rice paper plant stems, one pair of pig's trotters, boil until soft, add 50g brown sugar and 25ml yellow wine, feed to the cat once on rainy days, continue for 3–5 days.
3. Feed protein-rich soups: cook 100–150g of small fish soup, feed to the mother cat in two meals, continue for one week. Mash 100–150g dried shrimp into shrimp paste, boil with water, add 50ml yellow wine, feed once daily for 3–5 days.
4. Feed diluted food: give the mother cat cow's milk, goat's milk, or eggs mixed with water or soy milk to make a thin porridge-like feed. (Source:PetsZone)
