　　There are three types of roundworms parasitizing cats: Toxocara cati, Toxascaris leonina, and small Toxascaris. Roundworms in cats may be transmitted from the mother during the kitten stage or by licking roundworm eggs excreted in feces. If a cat has roundworms in its stomach, it will show symptoms such as lethargy, vomiting, diarrhea, constipation, and weight loss. In severe cases, intestinal blockage and anemia may also occur.
