　　1. Water temperature

　　Just enough for the dog food to absorb; after soaking, the dog food should absorb all the water so you don’t have to discard excess water and lose some nutrients.

　　Soak until the dog food softens; since the solubility varies among different dog foods, soaking time will differ. Usually, at about 60 degrees Celsius warm water, 20 minutes is sufficient. At this point, water is about 30 degrees Celsius, perfect for trial feeding.
