Many owners like to feed their beloved pets the food they eat during meals, but many hesitate about which vegetables are safe and which are not? Below, regarding what dogs cannot eat, I have summarized based on my work and life experience that there are many things dogs should not eat.
Which vegetables can dogs eat?

Which vegetables are harmful to dogs' health
Golden Retriever (detailed introduction)

Most vegetables can be eaten by dogs in small amounts, such as cabbage, cucumber, carrot, broccoli, pumpkin, sweet potato, zucchini—your dog has probably tried all these common vegetables.
Vegetables not suitable for dogs to eat are very important, remember it well!
Onions: Also called bulb onions, dogs eating them may develop hemolytic anemia, which can even be fatal. But if your dog accidentally eats a small piece of onion while eating pizza with you, it probably won’t die immediately. However, nearly all books and medical literature about dog diet say dogs should not eat onions, so this should be taken seriously.
Large amounts of tomatoes: Some books say tomatoes cause spasms and arrhythmias, but this issue is debatable because some high-quality dog foods contain tomatoes, and my dog really loves tomatoes. Eating two or three pieces did not cause any adverse reactions, so I think the accurate advice is to avoid large amounts of tomatoes.
Mushrooms: The fundamental reason dogs should not eat mushrooms is to prevent them from becoming familiar with and accepting the smell of mushrooms. Some mushrooms are highly toxic, so when dogs are outside, familiar smells or foods they are used to might lead to excessive close contact or accidental ingestion. It does not mean that the mushrooms we currently eat will cause adverse reactions in dogs.
Potato skins and sprouted potatoes: Of course, you would never intentionally feed your dog these, but potatoes are usually stored in cooler places, not specifically in the fridge. Sprouted potatoes and potato skins are toxic; we know this but dogs do not. A whole potato left within reach is very tempting to a dog. It will happily grab and chew it, potentially causing food poisoning. So prevent this in advance by storing potatoes properly and keeping them out of your dog's reach.
