Which is Better, Bichon Frise or Teddy? Only Comparison Will Tell
When I was in college, dorms didn’t allow pets, but some people repeatedly ignored the rules, like hamsters, dogs, cats, rabbits, and so on. If you didn’t know, you might even mistake our school for a pet school. There were so many pets, but the one that left the deepest impression on me was a dog owned by a girl in our class.

She had a little Teddy dog, a brownish-yellow curly coat with an adorable little face that instantly made me fall in love with this cute pet. Because of this, I deliberately looked up information about Teddy dogs online, but almost made a joke by mixing up Bichon Frise and Teddy dogs! So, I carefully researched again and found out that they actually have quite a few differences.
1. Teddy dogs like to cling to people, and their intelligence ranks second in the dog IQ rankings, so they can learn many things, making you look great when taking them out.
2. Teddy dogs’ hair doesn’t grow long, which is a benefit for you if you love cleanliness, but their hair is very easy to curl, so you must groom them frequently.
3. Teddy dogs are small in size and have a gentlemanly demeanor, so destructive behavior like tearing up the house rarely happens to them.
Don’t think Teddy dogs are perfect though; they have quite a few flaws! For example, Teddy dogs especially like attention and often bark a few times for no reason; they have sensitive stomachs and are prone to tummy troubles; also, the grooming costs for Teddy dogs are quite high, etc.

Compared to Teddy dogs, Bichon Frise dogs are more affectionate and thus seem clingier. Also, the Bichon Frise has white fur, which easily looks dirty, so grooming is more demanding. Another point is that Bichon Frises shed more than Teddy dogs. You might not notice this usually, but it becomes quite obvious once they wear clothes.
Although Bichon Frise dogs are somewhat harder to raise, they have a good memory. Maybe actions that are difficult for Teddy dogs become easy for them after just a few repetitions.

Someone asked me which is better, Bichon Frise or Teddy? I think I can only answer that both Bichon Frise and Teddy dogs have their own advantages. The key is which one you prefer. There really isn’t the best one in this world; there is only how much you love it.
