When I first brought Wangcai home, I felt like a newly appointed dad, unsure how to handle the new family member suddenly arriving. But one thing was clear: I wanted to give him the very best of everything. Food and shelter, nothing less. At that time, I heard that Ocean Star’s puppy food was pretty good, so I eagerly prepared a big bag of Ocean Star puppy food for my Wangcai to enjoy.

Right away, I happily poured the dog food into his bowl, preparing his first bite~ But my lovely Wangcai was unmoved, he sniffed a few times, licked a few bites, then looked at me with a wronged face and sadly turned away~

Niuniu could accept the taste, but after eating it for a while, she didn’t seem to gain much weight. Later, following a suggestion from his veterinarian friend, he said 康多乐 is nutritionally complete and reasonably priced. So now his friend feeds Niuniu 康多乐 puppy food, and after switching food, Niuniu has grown a lot.

At that time, I thought Wangcai didn’t quite like Ocean Star, and the vet quite recommended 康多乐. But I felt Wangcai and Niuniu might have different tastes, so I prepared for both. Therefore, when buying 康多乐, I also chose Pedigree puppy food, which is similarly priced to 康多乐.

From my observation, compared to previous dog food, Pedigree is indeed more attractive to Wangcai. Although there are always some leftovers in the bowl, he still eats most of it. Compared to before, I’m already quite satisfied. But after eating Pedigree, Wangcai’s poops are black and smelly~ Although I love Wangcai dearly, if this continues, he might lose my love.

Wangcai seems to like 康多乐 better and finishes the bowl every time. His love for 康多乐 really caught me off guard. Every time I see him happily eating his food, my happy, ugly face can't help but break into a proud, fatherly smile~
I inadvertently ended up talking so much~ I just can’t hide my chatty nature.

Finally, comparing Pedigree and 康多乐, Wangcai and I definitely prefer 康多乐~ But of course, choosing dog food depends on each dog’s individual circumstances such as age, size, breed, and taste preferences, etc. The key is to pick a dog food suitable for your dog, not necessarily the most expensive, but the one that fits best.
