Want to Buy a Pet Dog to Raise at Home?
Large dogs recommended are Alaskan Malamute and Golden Retriever, small dogs recommended are Teddy and Pomeranian
It depends on your personal preference, family environment, and financial situation to determine which kind of pet is suitable. Large dogs have the advantages of large dogs, and small dogs also have the advantages of small dogs. If your home space is relatively small, consider small dogs; if you are afraid of shedding, then keep a poodle or other dogs that don’t shed much.
Like the Shar Pei, it is big, drools a lot, but is adorably goofy, average intelligence, and a large appetite. If you are small, you may not be able to control it when going out;
The Golden Retriever has a big appetite, drools a lot too, but is very obedient, smart, listens well, likes to retrieve things, and sheds in summer;
Pomeranians are very playful but bark a lot; Huskies have a wilder personality, easily run away, are playful, and considered somewhat silly dogs; Samoyeds have sweet looks, long hair with shedding troubles, some also bark a lot, and are hard to control outdoors because sled dogs are strong (Huskies are the same); Teddy dogs look very cute, bark a bit, require regular grooming (which will cost you a lot), or else they look unkempt.
Non-shedding is relative; they still shed some hair. Small non-shedding dogs include Bichon Frise, Schnauzer, Miniature or Toy Poodle, and Yorkshire Terrier, all basically odorless. Among small dogs, Bichons and Poodles (many people like to style Poodles in a Teddy cut, so many online call them Teddy) are the most popular, have no body odor, do not shed hair, are smart, clingy, and not noisy.
These two types of dogs require frequent grooming, which is a costly expense. Schnauzers also don’t shed much, look like little old men, have long eyelashes, and look quite cute if styled as Mickey Mouse. Schnauzers don’t need too frequent grooming, basically comb every 2-3 days; Poodles have curly hair and need combing every 1-2 days, otherwise hair will mat; haircut every 1-2 months at pet salons to look nice.
Next is Chihuahua, this dog is very small, I often worry about accidentally stepping or sitting on it, and it is very timid and barky, personally I don’t like it much. There are also Corgis (the tailless one, very popular with the British queen), Pugs, Miniature Pinschers, and Dachshunds, all small short-haired dogs. In terms of price, it mainly depends on pedigree; the better the pedigree, the more expensive. If your budget is limited, don’t consider dogs that require grooming, grooming fees are very expensive.
