Train Dogs to Eat Meals on Time

Some families who keep dogs like to give them a bowl of food every morning, and the dog eats a little, stops, and eats whenever it wants. This is very unhygienic, especially in summer, because food left too long can spoil and may cause the dog to have diarrhea or become ill. In principle, dogs should be trained to develop a habit of eating at fixed times.
1. First, whether feeding once or twice a day, it is best to feed at fixed times. The amount of food given to the dog should be fixed and should not be left in front of the dog for too long. Ideally, the dog should finish eating within 10-15 minutes.
2. Once the dog has eaten enough and leaves the food bowl, even if the food has not been finished, the bowl should be taken away. Over time, the dog will develop the habit to come for food at the set time and eat promptly. This method is both hygienic and convenient for care and management.
3. Do not underestimate this seemingly simple method; it is actually very beneficial for the dog’s health. It ensures that gastric juices are secreted regularly.
