Regularly Cleaning Ear Hair for Dogs

Teddy
Is your dog's ear hair smelly and long? If there is an odor or your dog frequently scratches its ears, take notice. It is very likely that there is a problem with the ears. To keep your dog's ears healthy, regularly helping to remove ear hair is a good method.
Ear hair must be regularly plucked. After each bath, also help dry the water inside the ears. Otherwise, if moisture and secreted oils are left inside the ears, it will become a breeding ground for bacteria. Dogs who often walk close to the ground outside are more likely to get dirty things inside their ears. Over-cleaning your dog's ears not only does not make them cleaner, but also easily causes the sebaceous glands to secrete more oils and secretions. If the ears are not clean and remain moist at this time, bacteria will easily grow, causing inflammation inside the dog's ears. The method is as follows:
Flip open the dog's ear, gently pressing the ear to make the area with ear hair more visible.
Sprinkle ear powder (pet-specific) into the dog's ear to make every ear hair clearer and easier to pluck.
First use your index finger and thumb to pluck the outer ear hair.
After plucking ear hair with your fingers, you can use ear hair tweezers to carefully remove each ear hair. Because the structure of a dog's ear is not a straight tunnel, you must slightly adjust the direction of the tweezers to avoid injuring the dog! If you are new to plucking, move slowly to avoid being too rough and hurting the dog.
