Precautions When Bringing Dogs to Stay at Hotels
Dog Hotel

When taking dogs out to play, not only should you pay attention to the dog's safety on the road, but also consider the dog's accommodation. Nowadays, more and more businesses have become humane and allow dogs to stay together, so the owner should maintain hygiene to make the dog more acceptable to others.
  1. Must pay close attention to keeping the room clean
Upon arrival, first find a place in the room to spread out the dog's usual items and settle it down. Having this "home" will help the dog relax. Also, the fur shed won’t get everywhere. Next, quickly set up a "toilet" for it. If there is a ready-made potty, that is best. If not, you can place some paper on a plastic sheet for temporary use. After the dog poops, immediately remove and dispose of the newspaper, then replace it with fresh newspaper.
When feeding the dog, you can lay a plastic sheet on the floor to prevent spilled water and dropped food from dirtying the floor. Be careful not to let the dog bathe in the bathtub or sleep in the owner's bed. The fallen fur and odor will be noticed immediately by others. Owners may be used to the fur and smell, but it can easily cause discomfort to others. Thus, it is best to bring a dog bed. For dogs used to sleeping on the bed, owners should bring a blanket for the dog to sleep on, preventing the bed from getting dirty.
After returning from a walk, wipe the dog's feet and body with a damp towel, then gently comb its fur. In general, be very attentive to maintaining its cleanliness and hygiene. Before checking out, it’s best to carefully clean the room again with tape or adhesive paper.
  2. When going out to eat, keep the dog in a cage
Usually, avoid letting the dog appear in public activity areas as some guests dislike dogs. Also, do not allow the dog to run around the lobby or game room. When passing through corridors or riding elevators, the dog must be held in the arms or well-leashed.
When going to the restaurant to eat, be sure to leave the dog inside and locked up. If you feel uneasy leaving the dog in the cage, you can put some boredom-relieving items or toys inside. After finishing the meal, praise the dog's behavior well; this way, the dog will learn that waiting quietly for the owner to return will be rewarded.
 3. Follow rules at campsites as well
Many people think that since it’s camping, there are no restrictions, but you can’t just do anything you want. Campsites also have basic rules. First, before going, confirm if dogs are allowed. Even if allowed, dogs are not permitted to run freely and should be tied to the tent stakes with a leash. It is also strictly prohibited to bathe dogs there, and you must ensure that fire pits and flammable materials are placed where dogs cannot reach them.
