Seeing other people’s pet dogs obey commands like sit, lie down, run, etc., as a pet owner, do you admire that? These commands are all trained by the owners; dogs are not born naturally obedient. So pet owners don’t need to worry. According to the following keys, you can also make your dog obey your commands.

　　"Sit"

　　Training time: When the dog is active and wants to play. If it is sleeping and you suddenly wake it to train, it will likely ignore you.

　　Training place: At home. Outside, dogs basically don’t listen to anything. Who would care about you then?

　　Training keys:

　　1. Prepare dog food, put it in your pocket, don’t let it see it.

　　2. Hold the dog’s chest with your left hand, press the dog’s butt down with your right hand, while saying: "Sit." When the dog sits, reward it with a piece of dog food.

　　3. Repeat the training, usually twice daily (morning and evening) or once in the evening. Each training session should not exceed 15 minutes, but you can rest for half an hour after every 15 minutes and then do reinforcement training.

　　4. Usually after 5-7 days of training, the dog can master it. Afterwards, regular reinforcement training is needed to prevent the dog from forgetting.

　　Note: "Sit" is a commonly used verbal command, so be sure your dog masters it well.

　　"Lie Down"

　　Command: "Lie down" or "Down"

　　Training time: When the dog is happy.

　　Training place: At home.

　　Training keys:

　　1) Must be based on the dog having learned "sit" first, and also prepare dog food.

　　2) First command the dog to "sit," then press the bone behind the dog’s neck with your right hand, and place your left hand behind its two front legs. Apply pressure with your right hand while pushing the dog’s front legs forward with your left hand, making the dog lie down.

　　3) Reward the dog with dog food after it lies down.

　　4) Reinforcement training is necessary going forward.

　　Note: This action usually takes a little over a week for the dog to learn. Dogs with better endurance can learn it in 4-5 days.
