Issues to Consider Before Raising Large Dogs

Ancient Shepherd Dog
Many owners prefer large dogs, finding them very stylish when walked on a leash, often impulsively bringing home a large dog puppy. However, after raising them for a while, when their mischievousness, high activity, large appetite, and various bad habits become difficult to correct, it becomes very troublesome. At that time, it is too late for owners to regret. Therefore, I want to remind those who want to raise large dogs not to bring them home on impulse; raising them is not as simple as you imagine.
First, the space required to raise large dogs is a necessary issue to consider. If you rent a house with others or live with family, you must get their opinions and only decide to raise a dog after everyone agrees. Otherwise, there could be many troubles. Large dogs need enough space for exercise and play.
Second, raising large dogs requires a certain economic ability. Because large dogs have strong bodies and need more food than small dogs, more money must be spent on buying dog food. Besides food, if the dog gets sick, going to the pet hospital or getting care also costs money—these expenses are higher than for small dogs. Additionally, items like dog beds, food bowls, or dog clothes all require expenditure. Therefore, if your financial situation is not good, it is recommended not to raise large dogs for now.
