How to Raise Samoyed Dogs

Regarding diet, for Samoyed puppies, soak the dog food in warm water before feeding to aid digestion. For adult Samoyeds, it’s best to choose natural dog food that is non-greasy and without fishy smell, and not feed only one brand. You can vary their taste by gradually mixing old and new food until fully switched to the new brand.

Items dogs cannot eat, owners take note, include foods high in salt, chicken bones, fish bones, onions, chocolate, large amounts of milk, etc.

It is best to use dog-specific shampoo to bathe Samoyeds, as their skin pH differs from humans. Using human shampoo can cause dry hair, skin flaking, and severe cases may lead to skin disease.

How to Raise Samoyed Dogs
