How to Groom the Fur of a Labrador
Although Labrador fur is relatively short, it still requires regular grooming to maintain appearance and effectively prevent the occurrence of skin diseases. Next, I will introduce the correct methods for grooming a Labrador's fur.

Labrador
Be careful not to let the tips of the pin brush injure the Labrador or your own hand. The ends of the pin brush are very sharp. The Labrador’s skin is generally thick and not easily hurt, but you need to be careful when brushing some special areas, such as around the eyes, under the ears, the belly, and so on. These areas have thinner skin, and if you are too forceful, you might accidentally hurt the Labrador.
Also, a reminder to be careful not to prick your own hand. Because you need to support the Labrador’s body or hold the fur in one hand while using the other hand to brush layer by layer with the pin brush, it is easy to accidentally brush the hand holding the fur. I have even bled from such an injury, so I remind everyone to be cautious. If you do get pricked, be sure to quickly apply iodine to prevent infection.
When grooming a Labrador’s fur, you should also choose a pin brush that fits the Labrador’s body size. Pin brushes come in different sizes. Very small ones are usually used for very small Labradors or cats. For grooming a Labrador, especially a larger dog, it is best to choose a pin brush with a metal base plate at the back and a relatively large surface area. This makes brushing easier and the Labrador more comfortable.
