How Many Varieties of White Pomeranians Are There, Basically Just These
When I was a kid in my rural hometown, there were only those medium-sized yellow guard dogs. Now outside, dogs are everywhere, and several times I was startled by dogs suddenly rushing at me, making me dodge, thinking they were chasing me.
Compared to those sturdy dogs, I personally prefer smaller dogs, such as Pomeranians. Actually, Pomeranians come in many colors, like white, black, and so on... Pomeranians alone are a compact and lively toy dog breed originally from Germany, belonging to a type of German Spitz. They are very smart, usually move lightly, especially love to wander around, seemingly curious about everything but also very alert.

For white Pomeranians alone, they can be divided into two varieties: American and English. They have certain differences in appearance. For example, American Pomeranians have thicker legs with more hair, a shorter neck and dislike raising their heads. Their limbs are stronger, and their whole coat is thicker, giving a sense of power. Maybe they pursue a robust look, and indeed, American Pomeranians are quite solid. Finally, American Pomeranians have big, round eyes and quite round mouths, but their ears are relatively smaller. Overall, they appear more "magnificent."

Relatively, the English Pomeranian has more of a delicate and gentle feel. English Pomeranians have slim legs with short hair, a longer neck, and usually carry themselves proudly with head held high. Their fur is fluffier, limbs are slender, and their faces are not intimidating, giving a refined and cute impression. However, English Pomeranians have smaller eyes, and their mouths are also small and fine, while their ears are relatively larger compared to American Pomeranians.
Overall, among white Pomeranians, the English and American varieties differ in that the English type is delicate and petite, while the American type is grand and somewhat like a noble lady. But personally, I prefer the English Pomeranian because I find it cuter.
