       For everyone, eyes are crucial organs that allow us to see the colorful world. For dogs, eyes are equally important. Although the colors perceived by their eyes are relatively simple, they remain an indispensable part. Therefore, protecting their eyes is especially important. Let's discuss some dog eye care methods to keep their eyes clean and healthy at all times.

       1. Regular eye examination: Check for eye worms, the structure and function of each part of the eye, the possibility of any diseases, and observe whether there is eye discharge around the corners. Clean it promptly to prevent bacterial infection from prolonged accumulation.

       2. Eye cleaning: Avoid playing in dusty areas to prevent dust particles from entering the eyes. After going for a walk, while grooming the whole body, gently wipe both eyes with a cotton ball dipped in a small amount of warm saline or directly drop 1–2 drops into the eyes to remove dust and foreign particles. When bathing, avoid soap foam, detergent, or dirty water entering the eyes; if it accidentally does, immediately rinse the eyes with saline. For dog breeds with large and prominent eyes, check frequently, usually twice a day, for hair or filamentous objects attached inside the conjunctival sac or on the cornea. If found, remove promptly or rinse with water.

       3. Prevent eye injuries: To avoid strong sunlight stimulation, the hair around the eyes is usually kept or slightly trimmed, not too short. Dogs and cats generally should not be kept in the same room because they are more likely to fight (though there are exceptions). When playing or fighting, the dog's eyes are often the target of cat attacks. Additionally, trim the dog's nails regularly to prevent self-inflicted eye injuries.

       Eyes are very important to dogs, especially guide dogs. Therefore, mastering some dog eye care methods is effective in helping us protect their eyes.
