Care Knowledge of the Vizsla Dog

Vizsla Dog (Detailed Introduction)
The shorter coat makes it relatively easier to clean; just regular baths are generally sufficient. However, special attention should be paid to cleaning the Vizsla’s ears, because they have drooping ears that cover the ear canal for long periods, which limits airflow and easily causes bacterial growth.
Therefore, ears should be cleaned regularly by first dripping ear cleaning solution into the ear, at which point the dog will shake its head. Then use a clean cotton swab to wipe the ear canal dry, repeating 1-2 times. Stop cleaning once there is no dirt left inside the ear.
For older Vizslas, it is not recommended to use a dryer after bathing; instead, use a hairdryer to dry the entire body. If there are matted hairs, use electric clippers to handle them without forcibly brushing them apart. Always pay close attention to their condition during baths.
