But don’t know which breed to raise?

First, let’s see what kind of dog you need~ First of all, dogs are divided into several major categories, and standards differ by country. Dogs are divided into working dogs, companion dogs, pointing dogs, scenthounds, herding dogs, and terriers. Working dogs are generally smarter, easier to train, and more obedient. They have practical value. Companion dogs are generally prettier but less intelligent, hard to train, poorly obedient, but very attached to their owners.
Pointing dogs are generally smart, energetic, somewhat active. Training is possible, highly obedient, and mostly good-looking. Scenthounds are generally very smart, extremely energetic, very active, and greedy. They cannot be trained (although smart, they have poor self-control). They are very attached to their owners but don’t obey commands outdoors. Most are quite pretty, Herding dogs are very smart, very energetic, mostly trainable, and highly obedient.
Very attached to their owners. Terriers are very smart, active, like digging holes. Cannot be trained, poorly obedient, not very attached to owners. The above are general rules of thumb; of course, there are exceptions. Below are introductions to common breeds. Herding dogs; Collie; mostly gentle in temperament, trainable. Very obedient to owners. Well-behaved outdoors, no trouble. Prices were blindly speculated at dog markets in the past two years.
Now prices have dropped, so it’s a good time to buy. Disadvantage: won’t guard the home. Belgian Shepherd; timid personality, very smart, trainable. Does not like strangers except owners. Will guard. Likes to bark. Old English Sheepdog; gentle and generous temperament, trainable. Very friendly to everyone, well-behaved outdoors, adaptable to any environment. Does not guard. German Shepherd: a misunderstood dog! Stable temperament, very easy to train.
Very attached to owners. Can do all kinds of tasks for owners within capability. Well-behaved outdoors (if purebred and frequently exercised) will guard. Working dogs Doberman; vigilant temperament, highly trainable. Very obedient to owner, can guard. Some risk outdoors (if trained well, no problem), barks somewhat. Rottweiler; fierce temperament, highly trainable, obedient to owner, guards well.
Some risk outdoors. (Training solves this). Pitbull; fierce temperament, not trainable. Gentle to owner, dislikes strangers very much. Be very careful outdoors! Not suitable as an ordinary pet. Unless you want a fighting dog or for attack purposes. Of course, can guard. Boxer; stable temperament, trainable. Obedient to owner. Some risk outdoors - not to people but to other dogs (training solves this).
Can guard. Barks a lot. Husky; seeing this dog reminds me of the Collie years ago! The market blindly speculated this breed. Except for being pretty, no real advantages, very smart but cannot be trained. Likes to howl chaotically. Obedience to owner is average. Likes everyone, so cannot guard. No risk outdoors. Samoyed: same as Husky. French Bulldog; very smart, basically trainable.
Fierce temperament. Some risk outdoors (fortunately, it’s small). Likes owner, not close to others. Can guard, likes to bark. English Bulldog; average intelligence, not easy to train. Somewhat fierce temperament. Some risk outdoors. Not close to others. Can guard. Great Dane: very smart, easy to train. Stable temperament. Obedient to owner. Safe outdoors. Likes contact with people or dogs, can guard.
(Mainly depends on appearance. Brindle Great Dane is most expensive, followed by fawn, black, merle, white, and harlequin.) Saint Bernard; very smart, basically trainable. Good obedience to owner. Safe outdoors. Can guard. Great Pyrenees; same as Saint Bernard. Pointing dogs; Golden Retriever; very smart, active, easy to train. Attached to owner. Safe outdoors.
Likes people and dogs, but will not guard. Labrador; same as Golden Retriever. English Pointer; very smart, basically trainable (don’t expect too much). Safe outdoors, likes people and dogs. Will not guard. Likes to bark. Giant Poodle; very smart, very trainable. Good obedience to owner, safe outdoors. Can guard. Miniature Poodle; very smart, trainable, obedience acceptable.
Safe outdoors. Cannot guard. Dachshund, very smart, not trainable, poorly obedient. Prone to attack people and dogs. Can guard. Greedy eater. Basset Hound; very smart, absolutely cannot be trained, obedience equals zero! Safe outdoors, likes people and dogs. Very greedy. Cannot guard. Beagle: Basset Hound Bloodhound; very smart, basically trainable (with low expectations).
Poor obedience! Safe outdoors. Likes people and dogs, cannot guard. Afghan Hound; very smart, cannot be trained, very poor obedience! Safe outdoors regarding people, may attack small dogs. Cannot guard. Saluki; basically same as Afghan Hound Companion dogs; Pekingese; stupid, cannot be trained. Obedience acceptable. Basically safe outdoors. Can guard.
Toy Poodle; very smart, basically trainable, good obedience. Safe outdoors. Will not guard. Very attached to owner. Chihuahua; stupid, impossible to train! Obedience equals zero. Will guard. Miniature Pinscher: basically same as Chihuahua Pomeranian: basically same as Chihuahua Terriers: Schnauzer; very smart, can be trained a bit.

(Don’t expect too much) Safe outdoors. Strongly dependent on owner. Can guard. Likes to bark, loves to dig randomly. Yorkshire Terrier; very smart, cannot be trained. Safe outdoors but prone to attack other dogs. Can guard. Likes to bark randomly. Australian Silky Terrier; very smart. But cannot be trained. Very affectionate to family. Can guard. Safe outdoors. The above is certainly not absolutely accurate, hope it helps you. If satisfied, please give a positive review, thank you.
Recommendations: Small breeds: Teddy (non-shedding, little smell, smart and clingy, gentle temperament like a toy), Bichon Frise (similar to Teddy), Hadori Pomeranian (small cute dog), Corgi; medium breeds: Samoyed, Golden Retriever, Silver Fox dog, Akita are all good~~ Your positive review means a lot to me~~ If satisfied, please give me a good review~~ Thank you
