What diseases do cat vaccines prevent

Siamese
In the past decade, the number of dogs and cats raised in our country has increased significantly, but most owners, and even some veterinarians, know very little about how to scientifically vaccinate dogs and cats. Owners do not vaccinate their pets, and veterinarians do not follow proper procedures for vaccination, resulting in inaccurate preventive vaccination of dogs and cats. The author once tested dogs with diarrhea in the Beijing area for canine parvovirus disease. The positive rate for dogs without vaccination was 65% (26/40), and for dogs not vaccinated according to procedures was 100% (7/7), showing that not vaccinating or not following vaccination procedures leads to high disease incidence.
There are seven types of vaccines abroad that prevent feline infectious diseases, including feline panleukopenia (feline distemper), feline infectious rhinotracheitis, feline calicivirus disease, rabies in cats, feline leukemia, feline pneumonia (caused by Chlamydia psittaci), and feline infectious peritonitis. Currently, the commonly used feline triple live attenuated vaccine includes feline panleukopenia vaccine, feline infectious rhinotracheitis vaccine, and feline calicivirus vaccine. Domestically, only the inactivated feline panleukopenia vaccine is available. (Source:PetsZone)
