　　The first step in training cats is to let them remember their own name and respond immediately when called. From the day the cat comes home, like remembering the location of the toilet, let them remember their own name.

　　The most effective method is to call the cat’s name before feeding. Once it understands that hearing its name means food is coming, it will naturally remember the sound of its own name.

　　Then, in other situations beyond feeding time, when you call it, it will “meow,” look back, or wag its tail in response. This makes it easier for you to carry out other training. Once the cat understands its name, it can come when lost by hearing it. Usually, many owners like to talk to their cats, and at these times, saying "Come, Mimmi," with its name added works even better.
