Methods for Training Pet Cats to Perform Ring Jumping

What are the rules for training to eat?
Many owners often boast: how smart their are. However, cats can also perform ring jumping if trained properly.
If you want your cat to show off in front of friends and family, you can learn the training methods introduced in this article.
The ring for training the cat to jump through can be a bamboo embroidery hoop or a roughly 30 cm diameter iron ring made from thick wire.
During training, place the ring flat on the ground between you and the cat, and continuously give the "jump" command to the cat.
If the cat walks through the ring, immediately reward it with food; if it goes around the side, give a soft scolding. After repeated training, the cat will walk through the ring whenever it hears the "jump" command.
Then you can gradually raise the height of the ring from the ground, forcing the cat to jump through it, rewarding each successful jump.
At first, do not raise the ring too high at once. Sometimes the cat may be afraid to jump after increasing the height; the owner can use food placed inside the ring to entice the cat and keep giving the "jump" command. Once the cat jumps through it once, it becomes easier thereafter.
After training for a while, gradually reduce the food rewards. When the cat can jump through a ring 30-60 cm off the ground upon the owner's "jump" command without food rewards, the training is successful.
