How to Make Cats Obedient and Well-Behaved

Canadian Hairless Cat
Kittens are often naughty and disobedient. As the saying goes, without rules nothing can be accomplished. To make cats obedient and well-behaved, proper training is necessary. The best time to train cats is during kittenhood, when many habits have not yet formed, allowing them to better accept good behaviors.
1. Training should start early, and incorrect behavior must be corrected immediately.
Cats must be educated immediately when they make a mistake on the spot. Since most cat owners need to work, this can be difficult to achieve, which increases the challenge of correcting cats' misbehavior.
Training should begin from kittenhood. It is very difficult to correct bad habits in adult cats, but it is easier to prevent them from the start. However, with persistence, any cat can learn some simple behavioral rules.
Training is best started within a few days after you bring your cat home. During training, keep a water spray bottle or a noise maker (you can put some coins inside an aluminum can). Whenever the cat climbs on chairs or scratches furniture, spray water on it or shake the noise maker nearby. If you cannot watch the cat, restrict its activity area before leaving home. Do not punish cats physically, as it will only make them fear their owner and lose trust.
