1. Early Adaptation to Family Life
From 2 weeks of age, cats should receive the owner's affection several times a day for a few minutes each time, gradually increasing the duration and frequency. If possible, invite friends or family to pet the cat, or the owner can wear a hat, sunglasses, or other disguises to help the cat adapt to different appearances.
During this period, the cat will be weaned and start eating solid food. They will gradually begin exploring their surroundings, increase playtime, show strong curiosity, and their movements become more coordinated. Owners should seize this opportunity to provide ample life experiences to reduce fear of unfamiliar things.

Cats are independent animals; when making friends with a cat, do not be overly proactive. If your cat has missed the optimal socialization period or experienced unpleasant events leaving psychological shadows, approach it only when it is very relaxed. You can speak softly to the cat while it is eating to let it understand your kindness. The aforementioned petting method is also effective, but do not rush to touch it, avoid loud noises or sudden movements that might scare the cat. A patient and gentle attitude will definitely win the cat’s favor and trust. (Source:PetsZone)
